I stopped listening and rushed forward so as to avoid the sound waves from approaching me. My old friend joined me and we walked along in the mid-day sun which gave us some relief in the cold weather.

I knew I had to say something. I blurted "People start lecturing as they grow old, don't they?"

I knew he was older to me but I somehow overlooked it.

He was silent. I think he was thinking. After a short while, he smiled indicating his agreement with whatever I said.

Inspired, I continued, "If they are really impressed by what they are talking, first thing, they will do it themselves. When they are doing something good, they are inpiring people. They are leading from the front. They need not talk."

He was silent for a while and then he said "So you are also growing older!"
